AXA Achievement Scholarship
Are you active in your community? Have you led a project that benefits others? Have you overcome personal challenges? You may qualify for an AXA Achievement Scholarship of $10,000 or $25,000. Grade:12 Deadline: December 15, 2013
Burger King Scholars
Must work part-time for a minimum of 10 hours per week or 40 weeks per year, be actively involved in community, plans to enroll in an accredited college/vocational school. Deadline: January 10, 2014.
Coca Cola Scholars Foundation
Seniors in high schools throughout the United States who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for one of 250 four-year, achievement-based scholarships. Seniors must have at least a 3.0 GPA, be a US citizen or permanent resident, and attend a four year university next year. Grade:12 Deadline: October 31, 2013
Gates Millennium Scholars
The eligibility criteria: 1) students are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American 2) a citizenor permanent
resident or national of the U.S. 3) GPA of 3.3 or higher 4) leadership abilities, community service, etc. 5) meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria. Grade: 12 Deadline:January 15, 2014
Prudential Spirit of Community Award
This award recognizes high school students for volunteer service in their communities. If you've made a difference by volunteering in your community over the past year, you could win $1,000 and a fabulous trip to Washington, D.C., next May. Target All-Around Scholarships
The Target All-Around Scholarships are available to high school seniors and undergraduate college students who are under the age of 24. This scholarship honors potential leaders who have already begun to make a difference in the present day. The primary criterion that these scholarships are based on is the involvement and service of the individual within their community. Four of the scholarships are in the amount of $10,000. Lowe’s Scholarship
Be current high school seniors, maintain a minimum 3.25 G.P.A., demonstrate a history of commitment to their community through leadership activities, community service and/or work experience. The amount is $2,500, and the deadline is February 28, 2013.
