Not sure what you want to do?
The Planning Your Dreams website offers a free career interest inventory that will recommend careers based on your interests, skills, and values. You can click on the careers you like to learn about the jobs including the education needed and the schools that offer your program of study!
When applying for schools- Don't forge the following steps!
- Get organized -
-Create a folder for all things College/Tech School.
-Keep a checklist in the front that contains the requirements and submission deadlines for all required documents
AND a page to write down your usernames and passwords for each of your college accounts
-Complete your applications and request your transcript & ACT/SAT scores to be sent to your colleges
-Guys- Register for the draft if you plan to take advantage of Federal Financial Aid
-Want to participate in college athletics? Register for the NAIA Clearinghouse.
-Check your status regularly to ensure that your application is complete through your college accounts
-Don't be afraid to email your recruiters! They are happy to answer your questions and offer assistance when needed.

The Tennessee Promise scholarship will provide two years tuition-free education at a community college or technical school in Tennessee. Students must apply by the deadline and complete all requirements on the student checklist by the listed deadlines.
WILDER-NAIFEH TECHNICAL SKILLS GRANT
Students who enroll in Tennessee Technology Center may qualify for the Wilder-Naifeh Technical Skills Grant worth up to $2,000. To qualify, student must be a TN resident, be accepted into TN College of Applied Technology, and complete their FAFSA.
